Up here in Tallahassee, we seem to be having an invasion of hawks. Every time I take a walk in the early morning, even in our busy subdivision, I hear the calls of hawks. I don't remember hearing so many before in the eight years we've been here. I remember from living in Brevard County that the Cape Canaveral wildlife refuge is a good place for bald eagles, too.

Should we credit the tree-huggers for saving the hawks and eagles?
