AOLusers, redux

As an addendum to the AOL-blogging fuss, here is the experimental AOL blog run by media and blog maven/guy/commentator/thing Jeff Jarvis. So far no teenage trolls seem to have commented, but these are early days.

Heh. The layout looks like a rip-off of PHP Nuke. Leave it to AOL to be completely unoriginal.

Actually, it just looks like a standard three-column template that a lot of sites use... it's not as busy as most PHP Nuke sites I've seen, but it's rather bland. Also it looks lousy in IE, but fine in Mozilla. I wonder if the templates are open source... I would hope that AOL offers more templates than that one, but it's the content that counts, not the look. In any case, there is no mistaking the blog for one belonging to AOL, not with that huge "AOL Journals" banner.
