This is what I am talking about (click for larger):
What the hell is that?!?
Posted by Andrea Harris at May 2, 2003 12:07 PMWhatever it is, it rotates. That is, it affects different blogs at different times. Yesterday I got one of those at Damian Penny's site; today I can read him just fine. I suspect it's some kind of upgrade thingy Blogger is doing.
Posted by: Angie Schultz at May 2, 2003 at 12:12 PMThe other fun thing is if you see that message, sometimes if you put a "www." in front of the address, the site will show up just fine.
Posted by: ron at May 2, 2003 at 12:15 PMTrying hitting reload or refresh. That's worked when I've run into it. Today, my uploaded pictures have turned into little icons; the pictures come back when I right-click the icon and tell the menu to display picture.
Of course, this is not how to keep clients with TypePad looming up.
Posted by: Jack at May 2, 2003 at 12:45 PMI ran into that last night with Volokh, so I'm glad I'm, or he's, not the only one. I guess I'm glad ...
Posted by: *** Dave at May 2, 2003 at 01:24 PMIt's hit me a couple of times. I've got a much higher tolerance than most people for Blogger's idiosyncracies but I'm getting close to my limit. If librarians got paid real money, I'd take my site someplace else tomorrow.
Posted by: Christopher Johnson at May 2, 2003 at 01:47 PMSeveral refreshes seems to always load the page when it gives this, but I'm not too pleased. What happened to Google improving things?
Posted by: Jay Solo at May 2, 2003 at 04:54 PMI think Google gave up after I migrated to MT.
At least, that's my theory when I forget my medication...
