Brings pleasant memories of past geeky glory.

Whaddya mean past glory? Some things one may never grow out of...though significant others do tend to cramp on things.

Kris,

No time. Between everything over the last 10+ years, I haven't had the time. Plus, the 3rd ed. stuff blows big pc & enviro chunks.

If I could find someone willing to trade the old Warhammer fantasy rpgs for my barely opened 3rd ed stuff, I might just make some time for good ole geeky goodness.

Hey Thoth, you know they're revamping 3.0 to a "3.5" now right? It was in the latest Dragon (the one with the yuan-ti cover).

If you have 3e, don't buy beyond the rulebooks, TSR aren't doing any campaign worlds worth the name anymore. Get the Sword & Sorcery stuff instead. Scarred Lands and Malhavoc rock, and Necromancer Games have that "1e feel" you know you secretly want.
