Killing ground

In light of today's atrocity, I wonder how many days (if it even takes days) will pass before I come across someone's blog post or a comment on someone's blog about how sure, it's awful what Palestinian terrorists are doing, but remember, Israel engages in terrorism too. I just can't wait until I get to have the rest of my day ruined by reading something like that.

And Yassir Arafat won a Nobel Peace Prize in 1994.

'Cos he's a peaceful man, that Yasser.

Methinks the last Peace Prize that wasn't laughably awful was Teddy Roosevelt's...in 1905.

Don't forget the one for Jimmuhcawdah! I just keep thinking of that rabbit. Even nature was trying to get rid of him.

You know, Andrea, sometimes, you get it exactly right, and bring a very wry half-smile to my face.

And when I come across such a blog post or comment I will say in their comments box (or sent them and email) that shall say only: "WITH CHEESE," and it shall madden them unto the end of their days wondering what I am talking about. But we shall know.

David & Andrea,

There's been at least one good Peace Prize since TR's — the one for Norman Borlaug in (I think) 1970.
