Glam elf

Hey, Orlando (squeal! Legolas!) Bloom freaks, Check out Face magazine. Say, Border's sells Face. Hm...

And here's more, from some publication called Flaunt. Heh heh -- brunettes have more fun...

This is just a sample of my new All Fluff, All the Time™ blog policy! Tell me what you think.

I think The Two Towers was almost ruined for me by how they portrayed Faramir. I really think the movie missed so much of the contrast between him and Boromir, and how Faramir was of such stronger character. I don't see how that can be resurrected in The Return of the King, but I am still looking forward to seeing more of Eowyn and the relationship to come.

Legolas is cool too.

One person's fluff is another's bread I suppose.

Apparently they are adding a bunch of extra scenes in the extended dvd release (to be out some time in November) that will add to the rather inexplicable Faramir stuff. I wasn't particularly satisfied with the explanations the script writers gave for the character changes; something about how they couldn't think of a way to translate the book character to screen in a way that wouldn't make him seem too good to be true. Personally I think that in the case of Faramir the script writers gave in to contemporary notions of mistrusting heroes, and so on. But I'll wait for the extended dvd for my final say on the matter.

Sorry, he's just not that good looking sans blonde tresses and pointy ears.

Fluff is good; Spleen is better.

Mebbe you could serve Spleen, with a little Fluff on top?

I think he looks better with dark hair, Sekimori. Now, that Flock of Seagulls/racoon thing he's got going on is another matter...

I think Face magazine is trying to tap into that whole Adam Ant, glam-pirate thing, because... well, because they can.

Love, love, LOVE skinny white boys with dark hair and pale skin. My boyfriend fits that mold, in fact.

I must say, though, Orlando looks good even with a blond ponytail, and few men can say that.
