Buzz cut

Hey, what do you know, Elrond was in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. (Or Agent Smith, if you prefer.)

What? YOu didn't know that already?

Shame on you...

I hadn't seen the film before; I happened to catch it on Bravo. All I remembered about it is that Terence Stamp was in it. (There is a very long list of films I haven't seen that other people find essential, including Casablanca.) Anyway, now you know how closely I follow Hollywood hype. Now it can be told!

Casablanca is a great movie, but nothing could live up to the hype it gets. Don't be embarassed--I only saw it for the first time two years ago--but you should still see it.

Citizen Kane's a far more significant movie in terms of shaping how directors actually think about making movies.

Terence Stamp's cousin cleans my teeth.

Oh, and did Keanu say "Whoa!" in The Matrix Relaoded as he is rumored to have done in every movie he's ever made?

I dunno -- I haven't seen that one yet.

I'm getting vague shadows in my memory now... was he the one that stood on top of the bus with that unbelievably long scarf thing trailing behind?

Hype or no hype, Priscilla was a GREAT movie.

Elrond was also the voice of "Fly" in Babe. He gets around a lot.
