Blog blahs

I'm going to be doing a site redesign over the next few days. What else is new!

Update: um, it kind of helps to leave the $MTEntryBody$ tag up...

I love your categories for your posts. Got a question.

I have tried five times (the most recent last week) to "get into" and read "A Confederacy of Dunces" and I just can't get past the first chapter. Any suggestions, clues, or encouragement on why this book is a worthy read? Hell, I made it through the puppy-killer (from sheer size) "Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace, I should be able to read ACOD. Ignatius strikes me as a pudgy, ugly, stinky, probably gay, mama's boy, which does not entice me to give a sh!te about him. What's compelling about the book that will get me past that?

Every day is a surprise here :)

I'm thinking of redoing Muse, but I'm still happy as a clam with Gaggle. I was thinking of doing Muse in teals or something. Like I don't have enough other things I should be doing!

I've never read the book Confederacy of Dunces. I just liked the title. But anyone else who has read it feel free to give your opinion!

I thought A Confederacy of Dunces was hilarious. Ignatius is effective only at sowing discord, he's writing a novel (in longhand on Big Chief pads) which will expose the lack of proper geometry and theology in society, and he's living at home because his mother will support him, and he can't make it on his own.

I'm going to have to re-read it sometime soon.
