And we didn't have to do a thing

[CROCODILE TEARS]
I would like to state for the record that this is NOT a laughing matter or a fit subject for mockery at all:

A Canadian man killed when his truck rolled on an Iraqi highway had gone to the country to act as a human shield in the event of war against Saddam Hussein, the peace group that sent him there said yesterday.
I repeat: one should not laugh loudly and long at this most unfortunate occurrence.

(I might as well follow Michele to hell. Heaven won't have me anyway; at least there's a chance I can take over Hell.)

I don't even know if hell will have us.

There's always New Jersey.

You got the fool vote.

I'm sorry that the guy died...but no sorrier than I am for the around 30k that die in traffic accidents every year in the US. He DID go over there to be a human shield, though. Maybe this way his family can sue someone in Iraq rather than sue the US Government in a few weeks because those evil USAF types smeared his worthless ass all over the desert with a flechette bomb. Oh well.

I really doubt that the U.S. Navy is going to hesitate to bomb a concentration of hostile Iraqis just because one idiot Canadian is there with them, begging for a shrapnel colonic.

When people like this turn up as "human shields," we should just splatter their guts along with everyone else's, even if they're American.

ESPECIALLY if they're American.

He was driving a gas-guzzler (according to Arianna Huffington, that's supporting terrorism) and he was defending Saddam, whose weath comes from the sale of the evil oooiiilll!

Sad to say, but instant karma got him. It was meant to be.

PS Why is everyone picking on Jersey lately?

"Freak accident" or Act of God?

Maybe God just doesn't like idiots. Or maybe God just doesn't like idiots who don't wear seatbelts. I guess they could just keep his body there, if they can't get the exemption to ship it back to Canada. He did volunteer to "put his body in the way," after all, not necessarily his live body.

Don't ship his body back to Canada. That kind of stupidity might be toxic. We can't have him poisoning the ground water up there in the Great Northern Socialist Worker's Paradise.
