Right Wing Bloggers Tear Off Own Heads, Throw Them Across Room

Damn. That’s what I should have called my initial post on the Rightwing Bloggers vs. Miers debacle. Why do these things only occur to me now, when I no longer give a damn?

But hey, it’s not too late! I’m sure there are some of you out there who don’t feel a coma of ennui descending upon you at the sound of M-i-e-r-zzzz… You won’t want to waste a drop of the New New Coke! Join the torch-bearing mob!

    It’s obvious the blogosphere is taking itself much too seriously. Regardless of how this Miers issue is resolved, I sincerely hope the White House pays attention to more than a special interest group of pushy, self-absorbed, ubiquitous, ego-masturbatory rightwing prima donnas who number less than a half-million – at best.
