I don't care about the Reagan "bio" that CBS, to use Jeff Jarvis's rather hyperbolic phrase, "killed"; but I know two little robots who are absolutely heartbroken about it.

There was this one scene in which the bad guys were brainwashing some guy, and they cracked "I understand Reagan was a great president". In order for that joke to make sense you have to assume Reagan was the worst president in memory (worse than Buchanan, maybe; or at least Carter and Nixon).
Not to say that the show wasn't funny, but it wouldn't have made fun of "The Reagans"; its creators would have loved it.

I based my joke (it was a joke -- geddit?) not on the political beliefs of the MST3K crew IRL, whatever they may be, but on the fact that this bio sounds from all I have read like it is a really cheesy, awful movie. I mean -- James Brolin?
