Thank you!

I just want to thank the person(s) (I am not sure they want to be identified so I won't name them) who sent me The Death of Right and Wrong by Tammy Bruce, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.* Thank you, thank you, thank you!

*Now I can be one with the sheeple!

Still very conflicted over this whole sheeple thing. I mean, I know I've got to be one, since I bought the new Harry Potter on Saturday and finished it on Sunday. But if I were a true slave to fashion, you'd think I'd have found time somewhere in my life to read at least one Stephen King novel, or watch at least one of those Joe Survivor shows. My tentative conclusion is that I really am a sheeple but I suck at it.

Yeah -- I really am behind in tallying up my sheeple points. I haven't read one Stephen King novel (I read a couple of his short stories, but they tell me those don't count) and I haven't watched one episode of Survivor or American Idol. In fact, I've only seen The Two Towers twice, and I didn't by Fellowship of the Ring when the theatrical version was released on dvd (true slaves to this not only own the theatrical and extended dvds but they have it on videotape too, or so I've been told). And I haven't been to see Matrix: Reloaded, or any of the other Big Releases.... How, how will I ever become One With the Masses?

I'm finished with Tammy Bruce's The New Thought Police. Highly recommended.

Perhaps you're just a part-time sheeple? I mean, according to the most excellent wisdom of the Caz, this sheeple thing seems like a full-time occupation and speaking as someone who already HAS a job, I'm just too tired to sheeple 24/7.

Viva the part-time sheeple! My sheeple-ing is scheduled for 9-11 p.m., after the boy is abed and I have completed the repetetive daily drudgery that is my lot as a non-holistic tool of the MAN.

I got about 100 pages into Order of the Phoenix last night, and I am a happy camper. So bite me, Caz.

We must all be parasheeples. I don't know if that's more reassuring or scary. What happens if I go down to Sheepletemps for my next assignment only to be told that I'm being taken off the Potter job because Celine Dion's comeback needs bodies right now?

I'm tired of sheepling for hourly wages and no benefits. I'm going out on strike! WHO'S WITH ME???

Power to the sheeple!

Maybe Hermione will start knitting some little caps and socks for us.
