Heh, not that there's anything wrong with that... ;)

Oh, Andrea!! Andrea!!!! I have a few words for you and Deanie boy. It's very sad, I think. Not that I give much of a damn. :)))
(It's at the top, and I'm going to bed so it'll be there for a while. I have a feeling I'm going to sleep for a long, long time after this.)

Yeesh. that would be the equivalent of having Jabba The Hutt as a lover. I'm a sex starved 'mo in Indiana, and even I wouldn't be able to do that.

"Michael Moore is Ted Rall's Gay Lover!"

Makes sense. Mikey is the size of 70 women.

Must be a troll convention somewhere. You'd think with all this chum in the water you'd have flushed out one or two. Hmmmmm... Trawling for trolls.

My trolls have abandoned me.

Maybe not, Andrea. Maybe there just aren't any left anymore.

Maybe Mikey sat on them.

Better?

I've traveled around the world many times and heard many things. A few have stood the test of time with my withering memory. Here's one.

The Hollywood Halfwits (aka celebrity pundits) have scored a near perfect score, ZERO, criticizing US foreign policy, consequences of post-Saddam mid-east stability, etc (you pick the rest).

They are apparently regoruping to do something but what? The re-group antics appear to me to be a MONGOLIAN CLUSTER FUCK. Nothing else captures the essence of their efforts.

Your lack of trolls?

Maybe you get out the hook pretty fast with trolls. I think Gumble got two posts before you banished him to the outer darkness.

The Troll King could troll around for a while ... what pisses you off enough to consider trolling, but not enough to ban someone?

Troll King: consult the New FAQ (see the sidebar).

Admiral: I think this link expresses my feelings best.

OK, I got one that may be worth a trolling opportunity without getting banned.

First, if you haven't read Lord of the Rings or don't know how it ends, there are spoilers ahead. Shoo ... Shoo ...

OK...

I don't think the narrator of Lord of the Rings tells us the whole truth of what really happened inside that mountain when Frodo and Sam finally get the ring all the way back to where it was made. It seems too easy that Gollum dances around and slips/falls. Yes, it helps the evil must destroy evil theme. But it's too coincidental and doesn't smack of reality, even in mythic Mordor.

I think one of the following happened:

1. Sam and/or Frodo were tired of Gollum and after destroying the ring in a completely nondramatic scene, tossed the pest into the fire and made up the book ending to cover up their crime and make it a better story to tell.

2. Gollum saw Frodo had been turned by the ring, but Gollum was getting better from his contact with Sam and so took his actions in order to destroy the ring, but feeling himself being seduced by the ring's power, sacrificed himself immediately rather than again fall under its spell completely. His actions were misinterpreted by Frodo and Sam.

3. Sam, seeing Frodo's failure, cut the ring off him and tossed it into the fire. Frodo, momentarily confused, didn't know what happened, so Sam tossed Gollum in the fire to blame the thing on him.

You're new in these parts, aren't you?

It was sort of a belt-and-suspenders thing.
