Bring back the blink tag!

I think this is the first time in internet history that a website has been criticized for not being flashy enough.

There's a first time for everything, but why did it have to be me?

Isn't it kind of like being invited over to a someone's house and not wanting to go back because you don't like how they redecorated the living room?

I think I'll buy an ad just to piss somebody off.

Summary of article:

The web site does not have a black blackground, use flashy Java Applets and is mostly...GASP....TEXT! How dare they choose a web format that works best for 56K modems. What, people are STILL using dialup!

Disclaimer:
This is not my opinion, but a reasonable summary of some other twit's opinion. Personally I think web sites should be MORE text and less flashy because:

1. Some poor people are stuck using a 28.8K modem for internet connections.
2. Often times web designers forget that they are not just artists but they supposed to be storytellers and lecturers. A mix of 80% text and 20% pictures is usually an optimal mix to get your message across to the person browsing your site.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
