And now, a treat for my readers. I realize this does not show off certain endowments, as was requested by... someone. But at least you can see my new hair. (I dyed it, finally. I got tired of seeing three inches of gray roots.) Click for larger:
The picture didn't come out that well because I forgot to set the flash as well as the timer. I also look as if I have a cat growing out of my ear, but that's just Xena lying on the back of the futon behind my head.
Posted by Andrea Harris at April 8, 2003 02:31 AMAnd yes, you really do look like you have a cat growing out of your head. Are you the Conjoined Feline Lady of South Park?
I seem to recall another pic of you ages ago (i.e. last year, which is ancient history in blogging terms) in which you didn't look anything like this.
Spooky.
Posted by: Steven Chapman at April 8, 2003 at 12:07 PMHeh heh -- yeah, that other picture (it's somewhere on my site, I'm too lazy to look for it) was taken (mumble) years ago. Oh, okay -- it was taken in 1983-4, thereabouts. I used to dye my hair black, then. (And I only had a few gray hairs.) And I have since acquired some... extra poundage. Note how I carefully cropped the photo. Oh -- and I hadn't had the cat implanted in my head yet.
Posted by: Andrea Harris at April 8, 2003 at 12:54 PMVery Purty! Much purtier than Steve at Little Tiny Lies!
Hey hot mama...you got a date this weekend?
Posted by: MunDane at April 8, 2003 at 04:58 PMGosh - thanks, guys. All those compliments will turn a girl's head... I am actually surprised that I don't look like a female Jabba the Hutt, or a goofy freak, which is how I usually look in photographs. Well, except for the Conjoined Feline.
Posted by: Andrea Harris at April 8, 2003 at 10:57 PMTurn your head? Yeah! We want to see of the cat is implanted in your ear or behind it.
<donning helmet and protective padding>
Posted by: Kevin McGehee at April 9, 2003 at 12:44 AMIsn't Jabba the Hutt pretty much a cleaned up version of Michael Moore? You're much prettier than that, you know.
Posted by: mike at April 9, 2003 at 12:57 AMPreconceived mental image of Andrea, I'd like you to meet a real image of Andrea...
Gotta go with the majority on this one...purty is an apt term! Of course, we only come here for the rapier wit and incisive analysis...we don't come here looking for no eye-candy...
As if.
;-)
