The horror, the horror...

You know, I keep telling people how like hell the Seventies were, but I don't think they fully understand what those of us alive then survived through. This site may help.

Scary soups, freaky pink fish..'the horror' is right

I loved this:

"I showed this card to a friend who said, "What the hell's in that bowl-- bong water?!"

Brings back memories.

I tried to keep my eyes shut through most of the 70s; my father, in an act of unsurpassed cruelty, bought me a leisure suit (he was a salesman, though, so we must try to understand), but I want it to be understood that I never wore it.

I did once own a pair of striped bell-bottom pants, though. None of us survived unscarred.

Long hair.

And sideburns.

But I'm all better now.

what's traumatic is seeing all the resurgence of the retro stuff...as if the original never happened...

C'mon 80s....we're waiting for you...

What's really freaky is seeing my daughter dressed in the same style clothes that I wore at her age....like looking in a time-warped mirror.
