How many times do I have to say it?

Update: I have made this post an extended entry. I figure that I have gotten the message across, even if it didn't penetrate some extra-thick, frozen-brain-containing skulls.

I mean, just how dense are you people? Here. Is the message. AGAIN for those of you who are too FUCKING BRAIN DAMAGED to get it:

If you don't like what you see here, GO AWAY.

NO. DO NOT leave any of your comments. I AM NOT INTERESTED in how I do not measure up to your standards. GET IT??? Just in case the hemp buzz hasn't worn off, I will repeat:

I. AM. NOT. INTERESTED. FUCK OFF.

And yes, this is especially directed at some bitch called "Laura" who left her bon mots in my comments here. No, Miss Manners, I will not close my comments. But if you leave another pile of droppings in them don't complain about the response you get: you brought it on yourself. Now go masturbate with a copy of Blogging For Dummies because you've been noticed.

And no, I will not apologize for cussing on my blog. I have no children and I have no intentions of writing a child-friendly blog.

I knew I should have permalinked you sooner.

I like you. I really, really like you!

Posted by: Joe McNally at February 17, 2003 at 03:54 PM

I disagree completely. If you have comments enabled, you are obviously looking for opposing viewpoints and personal abuse. Geez, could you get any more clueless? ;p

Ow! That look™ zapped me all the way across town!

Posted by: Solonor at February 17, 2003 at 04:15 PM

Oh, yeah!! DAMN YER GOOD!!!

Posted by: Dave Worley at February 17, 2003 at 04:16 PM

Wow. You are really freaking out. I found this site by links from other blogs that I really like. Unlike this one, those seem to encourage dialogue and debate. I guess people expressing different viewpoints really get under your skin. "Agree with me, or don't say anything!" Actually, I don't disagree with your political positions, just this bizarre freakshow of trying to silence your critics. Ignore my earlier advice. Take two xanax !!

Posted by: Laura at February 17, 2003 at 04:31 PM

Take this from someone who DOES disagree with Andrea's political opinions, Laura: Fuck off.

Posted by: Solonor at February 17, 2003 at 04:35 PM

Gee, I feel so unloved..few people demand apologies from me, I must be doing something wrong! :-)

You tell 'em Andrea!

Posted by: Deb at February 17, 2003 at 04:47 PM

I'm not trying to "silence my critics," sweetums. The only ways to do that are illegal, obviously. No one is stopping you from saying whatever you want to whomever you want. If I ban you, will you lose the ability to type and speak? Should I try the experiment?

Oh, and here's a helpful link: http://www.blogspot.com/. It's free, and now it's also Google-powered. Feeling silenced yet?

Why don't you swallow a couple of clues?

Posted by: Andrea Harris at February 17, 2003 at 05:01 PM

I don't think anyone has asked for an apology. Actually, I think Andrea is doing quite a good job of making herself look like an ass today. I wouldn't dream of trying to put a stop to this. I've stood up for an opposing view and I've been labeled a bitch, a cunt, and a twat. Normally, I wouldn't expend energy addressing her tirade, but hell, I'm snowbound today and its quite fascinating to watch. If you don't like what someone has to say, launch an ad hominem attack, right Andrea?

Posted by: Laura at February 17, 2003 at 05:49 PM

Jesuschrist you are stupid. Ah, I see, the child is trapped in her house and is bored. Okay.

Posted by: Andrea Harris at February 17, 2003 at 05:59 PM

Oy.

I'm going to steal this post from you some day, Andrea. However, you can keep Laura.

Posted by: michele at February 17, 2003 at 06:59 PM

Nah. I'm throwing her back in the cesspool.

Posted by: Andrea Harris at February 17, 2003 at 07:48 PM

Laura, honey, people often disagree here in rational sensible ways. Andrea seems to be open to opposing viewpoints (well, to allowing them to be posted, anyhow), just not to personal abuse, which is just silly and only makes your viewpoint look petty and immature.

Oh, so that's what they're calling the downswing these days. It's best to stay on the meds, dear. They also serve to keep the manic phase more contained.

Will you be my mommy?pwease?

Posted by: mbruce at February 17, 2003 at 11:10 PM

Andrea, don't pull any punches. Just tell us how you really feel. lol

Posted by: beaker at February 17, 2003 at 11:24 PM

"I've stood up for an opposing view" - amazing how lefties feel they should get credit for dissenting anywhere and everywhere, regardless of whether their opinion is desired or meaningful.

Get a clue, Laura. In our society, dissent is not special. It's ordinary. And it's not wrong for someone to carve out their own area - such as a blog - for their own opinions. So don't expect us to feel sorry for you just because no one wanted to celebrate your "dissenting" view. We have better things to discuss. You didn't "stand up" for anything. You just made a snarky comment on someone else's blog, and she tore you apart. Deal with it.

You forget, she was "snowbound". Probably since then she's been "dug out", which has just got to be slang for taking her meds and achieving the emotional equivalent of level flight.
