Thanks! Good post... I read about that garden too. Then I read some fulmination from "peace activist" on how we are evil and despoil the earth, and I don't even have to wrestle with any guilt feelings to dismiss them as opportunistic hypocrites. It's no secret what Saddam Hussein has done, for instance, to the marshes in his country, and everyone knows about how he had the oil wells in Kuwait set on fire because he was a sore loser, but the US is the world's worst polluter. When they hold up John Ashcroft as an example of the worst example of religious fundamentalism, I want to laugh and laugh. And so on.
