Indeed, would you like me to save you a seat near the bar?
Posted by: Joe McNally at February 7, 2003 at 10:13 AMTried to read through it, but after the second "Well, you're a moron and I've turned your arguments to ashes with my rapier wit and brilliant mind" Lou comment, I was done.
Posted by: Patty at February 7, 2003 at 10:20 AMI saw that last night and almost fell outta my chair. Tony's site is obviously an aquired taste (one I love, btw), so someone must have been trolling for Viggo and made a post to a fan site. It's so sad that these people have nothing else to do but wander around the internet looking for stuff about Viggo. Blech.
Posted by: amy at February 7, 2003 at 10:21 AMgroan I need to get away from the computer for a while. Everywhere I go I keep finding things that piss me off.
I don't read Sand in the Gears as often I would like to because I'm still computing with stone knives and bear skins (Star Trek reference, sorry) and it takes freakin' forever to load. I couldn't make it all the way through Lou's answer. I quite about halfway through. If I had read any more I would have had to post something and I have probably pissed off enough people this morning. Oh god sometimes I wish I had remained anonymous!
Posted by: Lynn S at February 7, 2003 at 11:27 AMWay back when Viggo first made his anti war comments, I made a post to my blog about it. Not a single comment. About 5 weeks later, after the post was buried in the archives, someone posted two long comments about how they agreed with everything Viggo said, that I was misunderstanding him, didn't really understand Tolkien, and wouldn't I please hand out anti war leaflets on opening day of TTT.
I always meant to reply, but never got around to it.
Posted by: Ith at February 7, 2003 at 11:48 AMIth - I have the same damned problem myself. It's as if the dopes are all hiding out there, waiting till I'm not looking or something. I hate that. Bastards.
