Well, me, but I thought it was National Sick of Work Day. Oops.

Does showing up at work mean I'm pro-war? I guess it should be interpreted that way.

Thanks to all the people who showed up today to show their support. :-)

Stay home? I actually had to go in to work today even though it's my nominal day off.

I don't feel so bad about it now. Heh.

I stayed at home, after completing another 12-hour day at the military-industrial complex. Does that count?

I stayed home, refusing to sanction this vicious attack on peaceful Iraq by showing up at . . .

Oh,wait. The reason I stayed home was that I'm unemployed.

Never Mind!

I showed up early for work and stayed late.

But I promise to take a day off on National Sick of Waiting for this Damn War to Begin Already! Day.

I would have stayed home, but then I remembered those silly computers have to stay working in order for the engineers to print out the plans for the parts to the jets. Those F16s don't get built by themselves!

I'd hoped I'd have a job by now so I could have ostentatiously gone into work. Rats.

I did! But only because I am between jobs. Today was my Private 'Being Sick Of Still Not Finding A Job' Day. So was yesterday. And the day before.

I left work a couple hours early yesterday because I was feeling ill. Does that count?

Why the hell wasn't it on a Friday or Monday. Who calls in sick on Wednesday??

Posted by: scooterboy at January 29, 2003 at 12:23 PM

I forgot all about it. Apparently, so did the people who came up with the idea. They haven’t mentioned it at all on their blogs. Funny thing.
