Comments: What Passes for News In December

I don't miss that about Chicago, or the three feet of snow (was that back in '69?). With that kind of weather, though, if you had the Weather Channel at least you would have the rest of the cable channels to go with it while you were stuck in the house. Back then the rest of the TV day was all downhill after Ray Rayner was over.

[I still miss Hardrock, Coco and Joe. That's Christmas.]

Last year for Christmas we received a VHS tape from my in-laws that incuded "Hardrock, Coco and Joe" and "Suzy Snowflake". I'll have to post details on it later.

Don't you feel sorry for all those folks who didn't grow up around Chicago forty years ago?

Yes, "pity" would be a good term.

Although now I chose the middle of North Carolina to raise my son rather that the Chicago 'burbs, and am quite happy with the choice.

Well, you made me google the durn thang, and I found a page that had some interesting links on it:

Tanner's world

I can't try them out until I get home. My company is funny about me downloading mp3's and streaming video. Go figure.
