"There is room for thoughtful people to disagree about the ethics of certain aspects of [fill in the blank]"
Don't you just love that sentence? You can use it to justify any action of a self-absorbed public. Please don't dwell on the fact that credible medicial research shows that adult stem cells, i.e. stem cells donated and not obtained by killing anything, actually show more promise in curing disease.

In the case of inlfation, they're probably right, though for the wrong reasons. Kudlow had a very thorough column the other day about the crunch in manufacturing capacity and the rising Producer Price Index that goes along with it, and why it means an interest rate hike is in order. Of course, his main point was to beat his usual drum for marlet-price rules for Fed decision making, rather than the 'backward looking' government statistics they use now.

Of course, everyone knows already that an interest rate hike is likely, if not in June then not too long after. So your puppy cage liner is just jumping on the bandwagon so they can feel smart when Greenspan 'follows their advice.' That's some real gutsy journalism, that is.
