Can’t be bothered

Short summary of every single blog I’ve tried to read today: “The world sucks! Everything’s going to hell! There is no hope! Doom! Doom! Doooooom!”

My response to all: “Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut the fuck up. No really, stick a sock in it. Who cares. Also? Shut up.”

Looks like I bought my Kindle just in time. Blogs suck, and the internet is going to hell. (“Oh shut up…”)

      Definition of ooh.

If I’d meant to say “ewww” or “yooh” (what? that isn’t even a word) I’d have written that. (Yes I realize Brian is joking. McGehee I don’t get your joke. I have no trouble with “the initial y” of any word.)

Riffing on Brian’s thing about how you allegedly misspelled “ewww.” The safe bet whenever I’m jesting in proximity to Teh Noggle is that it’s at his expense first.

I posted an effusive thank you to Kae (from TimBlair) – she sent me a box full of TimTams and other Aussie bits of fluff and it was better than Christmas morning!

In general, though, you’re right. It’s the same reason I quit watching the news…and network television…and now that baseball season is over, everything but cooking, DIY, and football.

TimTams are ‘bikkies’ – cookies – that are made only in Australia, available in this country during our winter months (they refuse to ship in summer so they don’t get melty)only. In November, you can buy the ones marketed by Pepperidge Farm at Target. Hubby had some when he was in Australia in 2002, which is how I learned of them. It’s 2 chocolate wafer cookies, with a chocolate icing between the wafers, then covered in more chocolate. The milk chocolate is ok, but I’m giving away the white chocolate packets and keeping the dark chocolate for myself – there are various fillings – caramel, cherry, something called Turkish Delight…the mint ones are my favorites…so far. Mmm…

Clearly I need to read more personal blogs and less political blogs. But these days even the personal blogs tend to have politics all over them. (Mine, for example.)

I promise not to say “the world sucks; everything’s going to hell,” etc. on my blog. You know… whenever I get around to posting anything at all other than cute bunny and kitty pictures and weird furniture.
