					<description>The loud ones are decently far away.  One that hits the house just goes pfffft, and the next day you find a lot of shingle pieces in the back yard.

Apparently you have to be some distance away to get all the shock wave to hit you at the same time.

Ones that hit airplanes you're in are similarly quiet, but the lights go off and the pilot walks around the airplane the next time it lands looking for any missing pieces.</description>
